Our Staycation!

So Jason and I have been wanting to do something special with the boys for awhile so we planned a trip to Salt Lake!  It was deemed our family day of fun!

We brought Kyler's money because one of our stops was build a bear...which we thought he would love!
He made sure his monkey was ready for the trip!
Our first stop was to the gateway!  We were going to take the boys to build a bear.  Kyler loves dressing up his monkey each day so we thought he would LOVE to give him a bath and choose out some new outfits for him...needless to say he hated it!  He ended up choosing out a small angry birds stuffed animal and Korbin chose out a Simon doll.  Maybe in a few years they'll like it!

While at the gateway we saw this amazing rocking horse, I think the boys need it!
Next we planned to have lunch at Thaifoon but we sadly found out that it was closed.  We decided to go to City Creek for lunch and we caught the Trax over.

Kyler thought it was so cool!
Even Korbin was entertained!
After lunch we went to the disney store and Kyler was in Heaven!  (in retrospect we should have just gone to the disney store instead of Build a bear)  Kyler chose out a small stuffed mickey and mickey toys to share with Korbin.  Korbin chose out the stuffed chameleon from Tangled.  Kyler would not let anyone else carry the bag, he wanted his mickey toys!
He seriously would not let go of the bag!
(out of order picture) Kyler was so excited for build a bear before we got there!
Playing with his mickey toys on the way to the aquaruim!
Our next stop was the aquaruim!  We got memberships back in august (sweet deal thanks to halfpriceutah.com) so we thought we should go again.  The boys love it there!

Kyler had to bring mickey in!
Mickey loved the aquaruim too!
Look at the fish mom!
Seriously so enthralled!
Korbin wasnt too sure about being carried in the pack!
But once he got out and could see the fish close he was in heaven!
Kyler loved the play area!
We tried to get a picture of Kyler and Korbin in the cave and were unsuccessful!
Steering the ship
Kyler thought the touching pool was so cool, even though he would only touch the water.
My boys!  (It's crazy to see the height difference here isnce they are only like 5 lbs apart! Korbin is short and chubby but oh so adorable)
Look how big he is getting!
They seriously loved the fishies!
Family picture at the aquaruim!
We ended our day with dinner at chipotle.  Jason fell in love with Chipotle on his mission and so it is a must every time we go to Salt Lake.  Thankfully the rest of us like it too!

We bought the boys a kids meal to share and Korbin ate most of it!  He loves to eat!
We had a great day together in Salt Lake and hopefully we'll get to do it again soon!

Playing with toys on the way home!

Isn't it awesome?! It's going strawberry blondish but I think summer will bring out the red. I'm seriously jealous of his hair!
