Getting ready for Thanksgiving!

I am one who usually never gets that excited about thanksgiving at least not decorations wise, I mean honestly turkeys arent that cute. My only decoration is this awesome turkey I made back in young women's and that I love, ut honestly one turkey cant make them all cute. Last year I made this cute wreath so I was excited to put it up this year as I honestly dont have many cute wreaths.
I wanted to get more in the spirit for thanksgiving because I love holidays, I love having reasons to celebrate.  And honestly there isnt much better than celebrating all that you are thankful for.  I saw a turkey shirt on pinterest (how I love pinterest!) and decided to make my kids some.  I thought it would be more fun to make shirts with friends so we invited some friends over and had a shirt making party.  We sadly got no pictures at the party but it was fun.  The guys were all lame and just watched football but the kids had fun playing and making shirts and I think they turned out so cute.  My boys wanted to wear theirs today so of course I had to take pictures! I am so thankful for these 3!
He was so excited to show off his shirt!
He kept looking away right as I took the picture, so I asked him to look at the camera and this is what he did, goofball.
 Selfie! He is obviously distracted.
I tried to get a picture of just Korbin but this is how they all turned out.  Korbin was the one that worried me about making the shirts because I didnt think he was going to let me get his hand and foot prints but he lovedit and kept asking to do more. :)
He was more than happy to get a picture with his siter though, as long as he had his halloween candy.  I did good keeping it hidden all week and just giving a piece or two a day but he found them this morning and hasnt let go of them.
It always makes me laugh going back through pictures, I took about 20 and these were the best ones.  I have some goofy kids :)
 1 out of 3 looking...
All smiles but only one looking.
I am so glad we made these shirts, I am so happy with how they turned out.  I am just trying to figure out why I havent done it before!  :)

Trick or Treat!

We love Halloween! We usually have a full day of trick or treating and this year was no exception.  This year we lucked out as our halloween celebrations started the day before.
Korbin's ABC class had a trick or treating party the morning of October 30.  Kyler got to come too.  They decorated bags and then went trick or treating around USU. After we sang Halloween songs.  Both boys had so much fun! And Kaezli loved hanging out with the ladies in the office.
Korbin lucked out this year and had two costumes.  So the day before Halloween he wore his Thor costume.
Kyler loved being spiderman and was really good at spraying everyone.
This is his tough face :)
Then the night before Halloween our ward had a halloween carnival.  Both mine and Jason's phones were dead and we forgot my camera but it was so fun.  First there was a soup potluck, where there was so much yummy soup.  After wards there were so many games! The boys favorites were the pumpkin toss and bowling. We love our ward and love going to the activities.
Halloween day, we relaxed in the morning to get ready for our busy afternoon.  Duncan got to spend the day with us which was fun.  Kyler had speech in the late morning, they had a halloween party which he said was a blast. After his party and lunch, we headed out and went to Lee's.
We had to wait for my sister for a few minutes, but no one minded, they loved running around in the grass, and I got to see one of my old neighbors!
We loved Lee's and got so many treats. Afterwards we headed to Jamba Juice.  It was a little choatic as they were trying to prepare with the crowd but our smoothies were worth it :)
Our trick or treating crowd at Jamba.
Korbin really enjoyed his smoothie.
After Jamba we went to the Library to see Grandma.  We were going to go trick or treating downtown after but Kaezli got hungry and it was almost time for Conservice's trick or treating to start, so we headed to Conservice to feed Kaezli.  Then I tried to get a picture of three of mine in costume...it didnt quite work.
Going to Conservice is always one of our favorite parts of halloween.  The kids get so much candy and they love seeing daddy at work.  Conservice goes all out at halloween and have costume contests.  Jason has been working on his costume for a few weeks and I think he did great! :) We only made it about 3/4s of the way through conservice before the kids were done but we had fun.
Here is Jason's team and his individual costume the night before when it was finally finished at 1 am.  His team won the best group costume and Jason got honorary mention for best individual costume :).

After conservice we were ready to head home for more trick or treating but all 3 kids crashed in the car a block away from conservice.  Jason had to go pick up his mom from work, so we grabbed dinner and went to their house for dinner.  The boys loved showing off their candy.
Kaezli wondered where her candy was!

After dinner, we headed home and decided to hit a few of our neighbors. I took the boys out while Jason manned our house with Kaezli. After every house both boys wanted to do more, so we ended up doing most of our neighborhood, we ended with our relief society president who had hot chocolate and scones. It was a fun halloween and we all enjoyed ourselves. The best part was that all 3 kids slept in until after 9 the next morning! They were so nice to give mom and dad a break!

Pumpkin Walk!

The up to 3 program went to the pumpkin walk this past week and we joined them.  It was really nice because it was a monday morning and so it was not crowded at all.  We were able to go at our own pace, the kids and I had fun!
We had to try out every spot where there was a spot for them to put their face in for a picture! I tried getting more pictures but most of the time they would put their face in, smileand then quickly run off to the next spot.  Most of my pictures are of empty heads, lol.

For Halloween, Jason's team at work dressed up as characters from the lego movie so the boys wanted to get their picture in front of the lego movie scene for daddy.
Korbin was dancing and marching through the corn maze.
The superhero scene was definitely a favorite, Korbin isnt in the picture because he just wanted to go give the superheroes hugs.
Kyler wanted to take a picture of the snoopy scene for his grandma.  I dont think he intended for it to be a selfie but I thought it was cute.
Putting your face in the holes has a definite favorite.

The yoda is my personal favorite.
The disney scene was another favorite.  This picture makes me so excited that we are taking them to disneyland in february.  The boys saw the disney characters and started running.
And then before I could stop him, Korbin ran in and started hugging all the characters.  He is hugging chip (?) here.
We love mickey mouse!
The pumpkin walk is at walk so of course we made a few stops there to play.
Miss Kaezli had fun hanging out with mom.  We went during her naptime but she didnt want to sleep, she wanted to see everything!
They werent too sure about the witch until they saw she had a kitty and then they wanted to pet her.

Kyler is saying he is two minions tall.  We love the pumpkin walk!
