Brothers!

I know I'm way behind so I'm just going to do a couple updates on each of us and call it good. 😃  Maybe one day I'll stay caught up on my blog!
When I found out I was pregnant with Korbin I really hoped for another boy. Originally when I envisioned our family I saw boy girl boy girl, so I wanted our second to be a girl. When I realized how close in age our kids would be, I wanted another boy, I thought it would be so fun for then, and it has been!  These 2 are the best of friends, I hope that continues on! They are normal brothers and fight but they always have each others back. They love to play together, hug and just be around each other. When we are going somewhere they always get the other's shoes first, they want to make sure the other is coming too. Kyler has had a lot of drs appts recently so Korbin has gone to babysitters. The whole time Kyler is asking for Korbin. Kyler and Korbin love each other so much and it always melts my heart!
For some reason beds are more fun when they are together in them!
Korbin follow Kyler everywhere!
They love to play in each other's bed!
Kyler doesn't realize how big Korbin is and wants to hold him regularly.
This is how Korbin gives Kyler hugs.
Hugs while we shop.
Kyler loves to push Korbin on walks!
And help him up slides.
 Reading together.
Sight see together.
And play together!
Love these 2 with all my heart and I'm soglad  they are best friends!

The leg...

If you have seen us lately or seen pictures of Kyler, you've probably noticed the big thing on his leg. About a month ago, Jason and Kyler were going down a slide when Kyler's leg got squished. He cried most of the way home and wouldnt put any weight on his leg but calmed down when we got him a drink. We figured he had sprained it and wrapped it up through the night and gave him some tyenol. It was a rough night and everytime he moved he woke up fussing. He still wouldnt put weight on it in the morning so we took him to the doctor to get it checked. The doctor agreed that he just thought it was a bad sprain but wanted to get xrays just in case. A couple hours later the nurse called and said that it was broken. She referred us to an orthpedic specialist. We went to the appt and the orthpedic doctor wasnt seeing the fracture in the leg. He said often times radiologist will call it broken to make sure that you go to a specialist. He did think it needed some extra support, so he wanted him in a splint for a week. We went back in a week and redid the xrays. They were still a little worried since he was favoring it so they put him in another splint for another week. We went back in again and redid the xrays. They took the splint off and were telling us things to watch for when we took him home and we were all ready to be without a splint. We were telling Kyler how he was going to get a nice long bath that night. The doctor started cleaning off Kyler's leg and he was wincing really bad. He relooked at the xrays but higher up. (before he was mainly looking at the ankle). Kyler's leg appeared to be crunched on one side of the leg and there was bone regrowth happening, meaning his leg was actually broken. He is now in cast for a month. It has not slowed him down one bit and he is actually quite proud of it. He has loved having everyone sign it and even decorated some of it himself. He has got frustrated at times and tries to take it off but is doing really considering. he hates that he has to take showers since he isnt supposed to soak it. We only have 2 more weeks with it
Headed home from the doctor
The splint
He was pretty happy with his animals.
This cute little guy was jealous of all the attention big brother was getting so he got some extra snuggles.
He loved playing iwth Kyler's new toys with his own new stuffed animal
Kyler's grandma got him a get well bag and Kyler loved all the toys he got!
That's his farting dog in the background, his new favorite.
He loves coloring!
His first time moving with the splint was to crawl up the stairs.
He loves his brother.

Women's Conference

Every year my stake puts on an amazing women's conference that I look forward to each year. I wish all stakes did this, it makes me sad that we are moving out of this stake. I have gone the past 3 years and may have to sneak back next year and future years. This year's theme was one by one and it was a musical presentation. The most amazing quote I took away was that we have no idea the impact that a good deed will do in the long run. It may seem like we cant do much but no matter how small it may seem it makes a big impact. This is exactly what I needed to hear. here are my two favorite songs from the conference. I'm tearing up listening to them again. They speak right to me.
