Elsa came to visit!

I love it when family comes to visit, I really hate how everyone moved away! So needless to say I was estastic that my sister and her family came to visit right before Christmas for a couple days.  And we honestly jampacked those days with fun!
They got in Thursday afternoon and it was kind of a crazy afternoon but after some back and forth it was decided that they would come to Jason's work party with us.  Conservice put on an american authors concert this year for Christmas and it was so much fun!
American Authors! We only made it through about half of their show, we were beat.  The first act was a comedian who was hilarious and probably our favorite part of the show.  American Authors was awesome though.
A lot of the debate about Elsa and Paul joining us was Adelynn as they had been travleing all day and for obvious reasons didnt want to leave her that night.  Kaezli was getting over being sick and was super clingy so we decided to bring the girls, which was honestly a great decision, they both loved.  Adelynn crashed during it but Kaezli was dancing the whole night.
Dancing baby!
Partying the night away! :) lol we barely stayed past 8:30
Our fun concert group.  We LOVED that the carona family joined us!
The next day we had some errands to run so we went to Chick fil a first.  These kids are too cute! :)
Walking over to deseret book we ran into the grinch.  After some persuasion for Kyler to talk to him, the boys loved him, Kaezli was indeferent and Adelynn HATED him.  lol
After running our errands, we went to lunch with papa and Uncle Scott who was in town that day.  Then that night we left all the kids with papa and went to Voicemale.  Jason's parents were awesome and got all the adults tickets for Christmas.  We asked if Elsa and Paul could join us and they were awesome and let us :) I have the best inlaws.  We first went to dinner at Firehouse and then to the show. It was a fun night full of laughter.  I left my phone in the car so did not get any pictures.  Elsa took some for me but never sent them to me.....hint hint when you read this!
The next day we had a fun day planned in salt lake.  In the morning the guys all went to Star Wars and us girls (Elsa, Raylene, the kids and I ) hung out....we went and got breakfast at Chick fil a and honestly I cant remember if we did anything else.  lol
We were hoping to go to lunch at Maddox for Paul (and because Jason and I have never been there, so next time Paul comes we are making sure we go!) but we forgot to make a reservation...oops.  So we stopped at Costa Vida in Brigham.
These two are so funny, they love each other but can never show love at the same time.  So whenever one goes to hug the other, the other walks away, pushes her away or stands stiffly lol.
I saw mommy kissing santa clause :)
Then we stopped at Fotofly Santa to get some pictures.  It was chaotic and crazy (as is our life) but I think we got some cute pictures.  :)
Santa was looking for some new elves.
And of course we needed one with the cousins.
After pictures, we went to Toys R Us.  We had this brilliant idea that the kids could choose out their Christmas gifts for their cousins and each other....It wasnt the smartest idea to take all the kids into a toy store lol.  Korbin left in tears as he didnt understand that Christmas was coming soon.  Hopefully next year he will understand.
Then we went to salt lake to see the lights.  It was cold so my family didnt last that long but it was so pretty seeing the lights.
another Kyler masterpiece. :)

Kyler is my little photographer and took lots of pictures on my phone for me.
I wish it would let me rotate these but the candy ornaments at city creek are some of our favorites. :)
Kyler loved that they were Charlie brown themed this year.

Walking over to temple square is always so beautiful.
My cheeser!
Nana came down with us!
My little photographer.
Adelynn didnt want to sleep all day so she crashed through most of the lights.
Kaezli loved hanging out with daddy!
Daddy and his boys.  Kyler wanted his picture by the red tree just like last year lol. ( I didnt have the heart to tell him it was a different tree last year)
Sideways but I love my cute family!
And the adorable Carona family
The nativities all around are my favorites.
The next day was Sunday and our last day with Elsa, Paul and Adelynn as their flight left early monday morning.  They joined us for Sacrament since the primary (Kyler) was singing.  Then after church we went over to my dad's for a little Christmas fun.
I love Christmas best so I wanted a picture of them together in their Christmas best.
I tried to get a picture of our big nursery girl but she wasnt having any of that.
This Sunday was also Kaezli's first Sunday in Nursery.  She did good for the first bit and then she fell asleep so she joined mom and dad for the rest of primary.  Such a silly girl.
She just wanted to be with mom.
Then she wanted to take a selfie.  Gosh how we love this beautiful little girl.
We made Christmas treats and the boys had to be dressed for the part!
We all got new pajamas at papa's.  Cute cousins!
Love my family!
Two Darth Vaders...oh no!
Matching your sister is a must!

We opened some gifts and one of the things Kyler opened was a "shaving" kit so of course he had to shave right away.
We loved having Elsa Paul and Adelynn here and wish we could see them all the time! It was a fun weekend full of lots of memories!

Christmas card & letter

Our dearest family and friends,
We can hardly believe that is almost the end of another year. 2015 treated us well and we hope that it did the same for you.
The most exciting thing this year was our family vacation in February. We went to California for a week, hitting Legoland, Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo. It was a lot of fun, the kids were surprisingly really good on the car trip (Mom kept them well stocked with activities) and we had a great time. The best part of Disneyland was seeing the magic in our kids’ faces. They really believed they had entered the world of Disney and couldn’t get enough. No one took naps while we were there, although we had a few instances of kids falling asleep on the way to the house we rented and missing dinner because they were so exhausted. The kids got to meet most of their favorite characters and keeping asking when we get to go back to our Disney house.
We definitely kept busy this year with our three crazy kiddos. They have grown and changed so much!
Kyler turned 5 this year and he is always making us laugh. He is definitely a goofy boy who loves knock knock jokes! He is making his daddy proud and loves star wars, especially darth vader. He keeps asking us when he gets to go see the new star wars. Kyler loves to play with his friends and lucky for him, one of his best friends is his back yard neighbor. Kyler goes to preschool and loves it. He has such a zest for learning. He is so excited to start kindergarden next year, even though mom and dad are not too sure about him already being that old.
Korbin will turn 4 this next February and is his brother’s sidekick. He loves to be everywhere Kyler is and wants to be just like him. Korbin thinks he is hulk, so much in fact that he was hulk for a second year for Halloween. Korbin loves to wrestle, especially with our pets and daddy. Korbin goes to preschool with Kyler and is a big fan of riding the bus. He is learning so much and has started correcting people if they spell his name wrong. Korbin likes to keep mommy on her toes and always finding himself in different predicaments, like getting stuck in the cat tower.
Our baby girl turned one this year. It is definitely different having a girl around but it is so fun. Kaezli loves her dolls, dressing up in dresses and jewelry, and watching Frozen. She still has her brothers wrapped around her finger and always wants to be doing exactly what they are doing. If they are wrestling, she will be right in middle of the pile. She is our little tomboy princess! She is so friendly and loves to share her adorable smile with anyone she sees.
Our family grew this year, as Daisy {our dog} got two new friends. Over the summer we got Batcat and then right after Thanksgiving we got Donald the dog. Korbin would probably tell you that Batcat is his pet and Donald loves to follow mom around but they have been become good friends with all of us. We love them but no matter how much Kyler keeps asking, mom says no more pets. It’s starting to feel like a circus sometimes.
Jason and I are doing well. Jason is still working hard at Conservice and is well loved there. He is one of the bear scout leaders in our ward and then both of us teach a class in primary. He definitely stays busy but as soon as he is home, he is on the floor with the kids wrestling and playing. The kids love it when daddy comes home! I love staying home with our kids. Kaezli and I are getting good at getting our errands run while the boys are at school so that we can play lots when they are home. I am still working for my dad and he definitely keeps me busy.
We hope that you all had a wonderful year and have a very merry Christmas!
 We love you all!

We are in to december....

I'm feeling better that I'm in December...that was just last month. December was a crazy month but isnt that how the holidays are, we all had a lot of fun.
We spent a lot of December sick, the joy of flu season.  We also seemed to rotate being sick, none of us were sick at the same time which I personally hated.  We thankfully had breaks of when we were feeling better so that we could do some fun holiday plans :)
Our ward Christmas party was the beginning of December.  There was a nice dinner and program, which we all enjoyed.
They also did family pictures...excuse Kyler's hair, he protested hair cuts for awhile.
The primary kids sang for part of the program.  Kyler loves it when the primary sings.  he always asks that we practice during our bedtime routine and so far has memorized all the songs (except for the primary program, he didnt quite get all of them memorized).  For the Christmas party, he worked with Korbin on learning the song so of course Korbin had to sing with him, it was cute
The first saturday in December we went and chose out our Christmas tree.  I love getting a real tree, It is so fun as my kids run through the lot to choose the right tree and it may look funny to others but we always find the perfect tree.
We love that we always get to see Santa's reindeer as we choose our tree!
No one wanted to look at the camera but everyone was so excited with our tree!
That same day Korbin asked for a bandaid for a sore he had by his lip, he looked pretty funny with his moustache!
Donald really needed a groom once we got him so him and Daisy went and had a date at the groomers.
They of course had to have matching sweaters.
Silly dog!
So like I said we spent a lot of December sick.  Every kid visited instacare or ER once that month thanks to pneumonia or croup, and that's not counting all the doctor's visits.  We are so glad to be feeling better.
One of the times I took Kaezli to the doctor she started acting completely better once she got there.  This visit was for Kaezli and we actually ended up leaving with a medicine for Korbin....seriously weird.
The doctor's office is always so much fun!
So I've always seen families do the fun tradition of making ginger bread houses and I decided I wanted to try it this year.  I've never decorated a real gingerbread house, just the ones made out of graham crackers but I was up for the adventure.  The kids were so excited and I just knew it was going to be a spectacular.
Needless to say, most of the decorations didnt make it on and the kids were more excited about eating it then decorating.  But either way we all had fun!
So tidbit about Korbin, he HATES blankets, like will wake up thrashing if you put a blanket on him once he's already asleep.  he's been like this since he was a little baby.  He is a natural heater and doesnt like being hotter. but whenever he is sick he always has a blanket by him.
Korbin missed a whole week of school from being sick.  Everyday was a tearful goodbye when Kyler left for school. I dont know what they are going to do next year when Kyler starts kindergarden.
Yes my baby is in the big play area, I might have cried a little...
There is a live nativity in Nibley, just a couple blocks from where we live.  We didnt make it last year and were so excited to check it out this year.  It was freezing but so cool! It will definitely be
Kaezli loved the sleigh ride!
So much fun!
There was lots of cuddling at our house`this month.  This was the day after Kaezli's visit to the ER, where the dr called the respiratory therapist before walking in the room because he could hear how bad Kaezli's breathing was in the hallway.  It was so scary but thankfully the drugs worked well :)
Santa went to the library and of course we had to go visit him.  and as you can tell Kaezli loves santa! Kyler made sure to ask for his zhu zhu pets and Korbin asked for a space rover.  Kaezli could not believe that I made her sit on santa's lap.
And I have new favorite ornaments!
Korbin + quiet = no good.  It was quite a challenge to get him out of this.
and another visit to intacare for pneumonia....ugh
The boys chose out what they wanted to get their teachers and were so excited to bring them to them.
The last day of school was a pajama party, the boys were so excited!
