My little boys...

Oh my blogger has changed!  Excuse me if this blog is a little weird but I am trying to figure out the new blogging program.
Life seems to be a whirlwind, I love it but so need to document more so I remember later on!
I love my boys, all 3 of them!  Life is so fun with them!
I just wanted to write some quick things about my sons to help me remember later on, documentation purposes.
Kyler is the funniest little boy and he knows it.  He loves to be chased or scared, he will just sit and laugh!  He has the most contagious laughter!  He is 18 months old and I still look at him and wonder how I made such an adorable little boy!  (probably because he takes after his dad, he is one lucky little boy! :)) He is so smart.  I love watching him learn things, which is a very common thing.  His brain is always going, you can see how much he thinks in his eyes.  He has been learning some baby signs-mainly please, eat, and more.  He babbles a lot but the only words he has said are daddy, mommy, hi and yea.  The doctor says that he will probably start talking soon because he is getting a lot of receptive language (meaning he is understanding what we tell him).  He is great at following directions if he is in the mood, but he's definitely a little boy who gets easily distracted.  He is such a great helper!  He knows how to unload the dishwasher and how to wash dishes to put into the dishwasher.  Whenever I turn on the kitchen sink, he comes running to help.  He loves his little brother so much.  Whenever Korbin cries, he starts looking for his binky to give to him.  Kyler loves to give toys or try to give food to Korbin.  Kyler is such a sweetheart! :)
Korbin is also a wonderful son!  Everyone always comments on how big he is and it is so true.  He is one solid little boy.  I hear lots of jokes about how he will probably be a football player, guess only time will tell.  He is already to 6 month clothes and by June will probably be to 9 months.  We just had to buy size 3 diapers for him.  (For those who dont buy diapers regularly, Kyler is just barely into a size 5 for comparison) He is growing too fast! Anyone want to take bets on when he'll pass his big brother up in size...poor Kyler.  He is starting to get a little personality.  He loves to "talk".  He is often cooing at us and smiling!  He has become so interested in the world around him and it is now a real job to get him to nap.  I am getting creative at getting him to sleep.  He still LOVES to eat, which probably is the reason he is so chunky!  He is our early bird and once the sun starts rising he starts cooing.  He always wakes up in such a happy mood, I find it so enjoyable.  It melts my heart everytime he smiles.  He puts all his attention on you and lets you know that you are the reason he is so happy!  He doesn't have much interest with toys but sometimes will cuddle with stuffed animals when I give them to him.  He is such a binky baby!  I honestly thought that was a myth and was just the parents training the baby to take the binky but boy is he proving me wrong!  (Kyler never took the binky so I was very naive) He loves his binky and I admit it is quite nice to have another way to calm him down.  Korbin has been the perfect little addition to our family and definitely has only improved our lives :)
Here is some recent pictures, sorry I have no idea how to get them any to order but maybe I'll learn soon!
I love this picture of him but he looks so grown up.  This was taken at 2 weeks by my adorable little sister!

Korbin is smiling now and it's absolutely adorable!  He will sit and talk with you while smiling for such a long time.

Kyler loves the park.  This trip was with his cousins, Dexter Roxie and Gracie.  Kyler didnt stop laughing and smiling the whole time, even though he missed his nap.

We are silly during the day!

Korbin is a chunk!!  At his 2 month appt he was almost 15 lbs.  I think it's absolutely adorable, even though he's starting to get heavy to carry!

Kyler loves to read!

Matching Easter outfits! :)

First time we actually got a picture of the 2 of them together, where Kyler is actually holding him.  Kyler didn't want pictures with his brother for awhile.

Korbin is taking after his brother and loves the outdoors.  He will kick and squeal with delight when laid in the grass.  You can't tell but he is cooing in this picture and was just smiling.

It's been so warm that we got a pool and both boys love it!  Definitely a great buy!

Both of my boys right after birth, isn't it crazy how different they look?!  Now can you guess who is who??

Life...

Isnt it crazy how quickly it passes you by?? I'm sitting here holding my adorable baby not believing that he is 6 weeks old, when did that happen?! And for that matter how is it that his older brother is already almost 17 months old (just over a month away until nursery!) It feels like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant with Kyler and now he is like my little man!
Anyway, I'm WAY over due for an update so here one is!
Korbin is adorable, seriously! I thought Kyler was such an easy baby but Korbin is incredibly easier! Which is so nice, since I'm chasing Kyler around most of the day. Korbin is growing way too fast, I would not be surprised if he is already over 10 lbs. He is mellow about everything except eating, I have learned to feed him as soon as he starts looking or else he lets me know how upset he is! but that is really the only thing he gets upset about. It amazes me how Kyler can try and play with him and it does not faze Korbin at all. He is a cuddly bug just like Kyler was, which I love. When he wakes up, he is so alert and loves to check things out. His swing has a round mirror on top that the mobile goes around, he could stare at that for hours. Korbin is not a fan of tummy time but he does enjoy it when Kyler gets down and does tummy time with him. He is a strong little boy and almost has holding his head up figured out. Korbin definitly has daddy wrapped around his finger, I love finding the 2 of them hanging out together. It happens quite a bit!
Kyler is everywhere and he loves it! He figured out walking a couple months ago and with it came a new sense of freedom. He loves it when people chase him, and will cruise away as fast as he can laughing. He was so funny when he figured out walking, it was like he was practicing in secret. He barely toddled, one day we were just off. He is very independent like that. Kyler has loved the warm weather, because then mom lets him go outside. He LOVES the outdoors! One day last week it was cold and windy but Kyler kept asking to go outside. Jason bundled him up and took him out to let him see how cold it was. Kyler still Loved it and just wanted to stand in the wind. He got mad when Jason brought him in. He is definitely going to love summer. Kyler has been doing pretty well with Korbin. He gets jealous at times but we can tell that he loves him. Today Kyler tried sharing his cookie with Korbin and could not understand why Korbin wasnt opening his mouth. Kyler loves to share. He is so funny when you give him a treat because he takes a bite and then offers some to you. He is such a sweet boy! I still cannot believe that he will be in nursery next month! It will definitely make going to church easier but my little boy is growing up too fast!
Jason is amazing :) seriously I am so blessed! He is working at Convergy's right now in the business class dept. He says it's not the best but not the worst. It amazes me how willing he is to work so hard for our family! He is going to school online. I have a feeling next semester he will go back up to campus for classes. He is the most incredible father. He is always getting on the ground to play with Kyler. They wrestle a lot or play with cars. Jason is a big kid at heart so you can tell he is truly enjoying himself! Korbin loves to snuggle with him. you can tell that both boy are a top priority in his life. He takes such good care of me and is such a huge supporter in my life. It's always better for me to do my crafts when he's around because he never lets me give up on an idea. I could go on for hours with the amazingness of Jason but I'm sure that you all don't want to hear it. I love him so much though and am so grateful that I get to be with him forever! He is definitely the best husband for me!
I am doing well. I love staying home with the boys. They definitely keep me on my toes. We are figuring out a schedule and are usually ready for the day before 9 (poor Jason is usually long gone for work by then and wishes he could sleep in like us!) I am hoping to get involved in some play groups! I want Kyler to get involved with others his age and I really want to hang out with adults some more! I am also going to school online but just part time. It's actually been an easy semester which is nice considering I gave birth in middle of the semester. I am looking into selling Shelf Reliance or Paparazzi Accessories I think that either one will be a good opportunity for me. I want to bring in some income for our family and also have a little extra spending cash for crafting but I don't want to lose time with my family so I think this will be good. Hopefully I will get started in april, so if you want to host a party I would greatly appreciate it!
We as a family are doing great! We moved at the beginning of March. We are actually back in our old ward which has been entertaining. It's a fun ward so we were excited to know we were coming back. Both of our boys will be blessed in the same ward! Jason gets off work in the afternoon so we have been enjoying family walks to the park. It's a blast. I love the time we get together!
I need to get to bed now that Korbin is finally asleep! I'll work on updating more regularly but that's all for now! Good night.

Introducing.....

Korbin Kinkaid Clark!

So I know this post is way late but I have been busy trying to entertain 2 little boys! It's crazy how fast time flies and to think that it's already been 3 weeks since this adorable little guy entered our lives!
so story first then more pictures! At the beginning of my pregnancy I was certain that Korbin was going to be early just like his brother, due to my history with blood pressure. The entire pregnancy my blood pressure stayed awesome so then I started thinking I was going to make it to my c-section date (Feb 17). Jason actually laughed at me because I made it a personal goal to make it until then. I had an appt on February 2nd where my blood pressure spiked really high and I was showing signs of pre-eclyampsia (sp?) . My doctor said with my history she didn't want to risk anything so we had 24 hours before he needed to be here. Needless to say I was a little stressed, Jason had got off work late and wasnt at the appt with me so I had to plan it all without him plus we were supposed to move the next day (needless to say that got postponed to next week). We spent that night getting a few last minute things, going out to eat and enjoying our last time as a family of 3. The next morning Kyler went to his grandparents while we went to the hospital. When I got hooked up to the monitor I was having regular contractions, which was so weird because I wasnt feeling any. They put an IV in and a few minutes later Jason had to go get a nurse because my arm was swelling up. The nurses were surprised that I wasn't in pain, just weirded out by my arm swelling. Apparently that's supposed to be painful. They had to poke my 3 more times before they found a vien that didn't collapse. Then it was just time to wait for our turn for the or. There was an emergency csection that bumped us back so needless to say we got bored and were so excited when they said it was time for us to go!
Korbin was born at 2:53 pm weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long (big boy for being over 2 weeks early!). He is adorable and has been such an easy baby! We are loving him in our family!
And for anyone who cares, I am doing great! Apparently I heal really easily and the planned c-section was way easier then the emergency c-section! I loved having Jason home for a week to help me out and now I am slowly figuring things out by myself while he is at work.
Now pictures!

Our first family picture!
His coming home outfit, minus the pants.

Kyler had a great weekend with his grandparents. He especially loved hanging out with uncle ben and grandpa.
Kyler has adjusted really well to Korbin. He still gets jealous at times but most of the time he is trying to hug or be around his brother. Kyler has always hated blankets so he is constantly taking blankets off of Korbin. It makes me laugh. He loves to make sure that he has toys to play with!
Korbin is even loved by his cousins!
He is our little chunky monkey!
I will hopefully get on again soon to post more about our life and post the pictures that my sister and I took. Sorry I've been such a slacker at blogging!

Yay for an update!!

So for some reason I woke up early this morning wide awake. Jason and Kyler are both zonked out so I figured I would update really quick before I go wake them up to get ready for general conference.

First off the exciting news I know you all have just been waiting to hear....We are having a boy! I am so excited! I think that it will be fun to have 2 little boys so close in age and hope that they are best friends. I had been feeling that it was a boy for the last few weeks so I wasnt surprised when I saw it. Jason said he woke up the morning of the ultrasound knowing it was a boy. I know he wanted a girl but he is so excited to have another boy (we'll have more kids anyway). He loves playing with Kyler and with another boy, I better just watch out. They will all be ganging up on me. We are planning on naming him Korbin Kinkaid. Here are some pictures of the handsome little guy!

Sorry not the best pictures, they are pictures of a picture. He was super camera shy around his face. He is just like his big brother and didnt want us to see what he looks like before he is born.

We had a gender reveal party for our families that night. It was fun to get together with everyone and have good food. I think that everyone was really surprised it was a boy. I got the impression that the vast majority thought that it was girl. I was a disappointed after the party because I got the impression that the grandparents were not excited that he was a boy. I've already stated my feelings on how I hate that girls tend to get favored more and I'm trying to ignore it when people do it. I love my boys and Jason does too and thats all that matters. We wouldnt change them for the world!

Kyler is getting to be so big. I cannot believe that in less than 3 weeks he will be a year old! Where did time go? I still feel like I am pregnant with him and here he is growing all up. He has become mobile and is crawling everywhere. He loves to get into everything!! I dont know what I am going to do when he starts walking. He is trying so hard to figure it out. He has already figured out how to climb stairs and has been trying so hard to go down them (too bad mom keeps catching him before). He is a little escapee and notices the second a door or the baby gate is open and tries to get out. He got 2 teeth when he was 8 months and this past week 3 teeth have started poking through! You have to be careful because he is a biter and he tends to think its funny when you quickly pull away. Daddy has learned this a lot!

He is such a goof ball and knows he is funny! He does things and then looks at you with the look of arent I silly?! He is always laughing and smiling! He is so fun to play with! He is still scared of most adults, especially men but LOVES other babies. He gets so happy when he sees another baby or toddler, especially his cousins. I love that he knows who each of his cousins are. He is going to be so good with his little brother! I think that he is a perfectionist and practices things when we arent looking. There was awhile there that I knew he was crawling because he would move places but I never saw him crawl. Its like he practices when we arent looking then impresses us with his skills. silly boy! Now some cute pictures of this handsome little man!

Jason and I are doing well. He is working so hard and is such a great provider for our family! I love that he does all he can so I can stay home with Kyler. We are both taking a full load at school. We are signed up a ballroom dance class and it has been so fun to learn lots of new dances or at least be reminded how to do them. We are enjoying being scout leaders. It's teaching a lot about how to handle young boys which I will definitely be able to use this experience. Life is wonderful and I'm so grateful for all that the Lord has blessed me with! The Lord really knows us better than we do ourselves because my life is far greater than I ever could have asked for. I love my little family so much! :)

Well I hope you enjoyed our update and if you did you should comment! :) I have to go wake up the boys so we can have a great day being uplifted by the word of the Lord! I love General Conference!

brother or sister????

So I need to get on again and update since its been a month but I just thought I would say we are doing well! Kyler has become mobile and is headed everywhere.

I was just getting on really quick to say that we find out next friday if Kyler is getting a little brother or a little sister and we want guesses! :) There is a poll on the side so make a guess! Will our next little one be a boy or a girl??
