Jason and I, like many couples, have had a dream to get a house. Jason got promoted last december and we knew that buying a house was going to become a reality now. We planned to aim for right about now (fall 2014) and save up until then. In april one of Jason's coworkers heard that we were saving up for a house and she referred us to her realtor and loan officer. She said they were saving up too and thought it would be awhile for them to get a home but that these two made it a reality within a couple months. Jason called the realtor and sent in an application to the loan officer. I was very hesitant as I was 7 months pregnant and didnt want to move again while pregnant. We decided that we would just get our foot in the door, look at some homes but we werent going to look into buying until after Kaezli was born. So inbetween conference sessions on Saturday we went and looked at 5 homes. We liked some, hated others but both fell in love with the same. The following saturday we looked at some more and relooked at some too. We still were both in love with the same one. During the week we had talked to the loan officer and this house was in budget for what we had been preapproved for. We prayed and fasted and both felt prompted that we should go for it right away. The following monday we put an offer in, which was immediatly accepted and we were under contract. Due to us getting a USDA loan and some issues with my income (I hadnt been working for two solid years and so we had to fight for the USDA to count my income), It took us 6 weeks to close but we finally closed May 30. We had to be out our apartment May 31 so needless to say it got stressful there at the end but it all worked out! We are now home owners and we love it!! We have lived here for 3 months and still tell each other on a regular basis how much we love our house!!
Now that our house is finally all decorated, I have some pictures for everyone! :)

 |
| Kaezli's poohbear/flower garden room...Jason and I couldnt agree on a theme so we compromised and I think it turned out! |
 |
| This was Jason's idea and i love how it turned out! |
Sorry that there are no pictures of the master bed and bath but we havent got around to painting those how we wanted so I will get pictures when we get around to painting. Oh and I should have posted a picture of it but Jason would like it to be know that his truck and my van can both fit into the garage! That is our home in a nutshell. :)
PS if you are in the market for a house we HIGHLY recommend Yvonne Sparrow with Boomerang Realty and Karen Nielson with Guild Mortgage. They worked so hard for us and we know we would not be in our home without them! We seriously loved working with them!
