Mr. Korbin

It's hard for me to believe that Korbin is already 2 1/2.  He is definitely our little man that keeps us on our toes.  This kid never stops and can find trouble very easily.  He is an adreline junkie, much to his mommy's dismay.  He loves 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, boats, and forklifts.  Lucky for him grandpa has all of those so he gets to enjoy them regularly.  He is super sweet and loves to give kisses.  He is starting to talk and we are starting to understand him, its fun to hear him.  He loves his siblings.  Much to Kyler's dismay, he is always copying him.  He loves to hold his sister and cant figure out why he cant carry her where ever he wants.  We sure do love our Korbin!
He wanted to do dishes and didnt want to wait for mommy so he got up there by himself....
He had lots of practice with his stuffed animals before sister was born.
Korbin loves animals and it took lots of convincing to get him to not chase the geese!
He will never admit he's tired...

We got ice cream the night before he became a big brother.  He is so grown up!
He loved riding on the razor too!
He loves to take selfies on my phone!
Since we switched Korbin out of his crib we often find him in random spots in the house in the morning.  I think we have a sleep walker on our hands.

Quite possibly one of my favorites of Korbin!
Grandma and Grandpa got a rabbit and Korbin LOVES him!

We stayed in Salt lake one night when we had some family visiting, Korbin made sure to check the bed out first thing!

Cutest 2 year old ever!

Kaezli Deanna

I am horrible at keeping this up to date....boy has so much happened!  I want to catch up and I think the best way is just an update on each of us so I will do a post for each starting with our newest and youngest...Kaezli Deanna!
So last time I wrote, I was about halfway through but we did not know the gender yet, boy has so much changed. As many of you already know, we had a girl, Kaezli to be exact on June 20.
She was 8 lbs 12 oz and 19 1/2 inches long.  She was my biggest baby, I was so surprised when they told me I had an almost 9 lb baby, I mean Kyler was barely over 6 lbs!  She ended up coming the Friday before my scheduled csection which is the day I felt like she was coming the entire pregnancy.  My blood pressure stayed good my entire pregnancy except for that last week.  That week I ended up in labor & delivery or the doctor's every day because my blood pressure kept spiking.  At my appt on Thursday, My dr said it was up to me, I could have her that day, friday or when I was scheduled but she didnt recommend waiting any longer with my blood pressure.  I chose friday that way we could have that night to prepare and enjoy our last night as a family of 4.
Her birth was the hardest out of my three kids, which isnt saying much since I know my deliveries are a lot easier than some and I have been blessed with a body that heals quickly + a high pain tolerance so recovery is usually not that bad.  I reacted to the spinal and threw up  while they were delivering her, which by the way is the weirdest feeling, throwing up with most of your body numb.  I also ended up on oxygen while I was in surgery and I went more numb then normal.  My arms went numb so I couldnt hold her for the first while without someone's help which made me sad but it worked out.  She was born at 740 in the morning so we  got to enjoy her all day.
The boys came up at lunch and were excited to see the presents she brought them.  They didnt have much interest in and were almost scared of her but Jason got them to at least stand near her.  They also hated seeing me in the hospital so they wouldnt come near me.  They spent a lot of time with grandma and grandpa and were so happy when we came home!
Daddy's little girl!
Grandpa wanted to prove he could hold all three.
We got a smile in the first 24 hours!
Ready to go home!
I promise korbin is happy, he was just wore out!
My older sister had her baby, Maia,  3 days before me so it's been fun with the two of them.  I am so excited to see them grow up together, they will be the best for friends.  Kyler and Gracie are three months apart and Kyler loves his Gracie so much.  He will even tell you that she is his Gracie.  When we got realized from the hospital we went to my parents for a little while to pick up the boys so Kaezli and Maia got to meet.

Kyler and Roxie with the newest cousins.
Our first time home and we started it out with all three asleep!
Now that we are home the boys have taken a much bigger interest in Kaezli.  They both definitely love her to pieces and are always giving her kisses.  Most of my day is spent pulling Korbin off of her as he doesnt realize how big he is and just loves to give her loves.  Kyler always reminds me that he is the biggest brother and Korbin is the little big brother.  It is so fun to see them interact with her and each other.
Jason and I are figuring out how to be the parents of three, It's been quite the transition but we are surviving.  :) The biggest achievement for me is that I am making it out of the house regularly with all three by myself and surviving! :)
We absolutely adore Kaezli, she is the sweetest baby and such a cuddle bug.  She is everything I imagined and more in a daughter and We are so glad she is part of our family.
Now enjoy some of the pictures of her first month of life, I cant believe she is a month old already!

Thoughts for the day!

I have a blog with an update on the boys and our family but I have some thoughts I wanted to get out. I am sure that many of you have seen the anti marriage/mothering blog going around on facebook. Like many I'm sure my first reaction was anger. How dare this lady say she looks down on what I do. But this post isn't in anger, because the more I thought about the more I simply felt bad for her.
She wrote in pure ignorance because I assume she herself has never been married or a mom (and if she is, than I feel incredibly bad for her children). Like many moms out there, I have spent time on my own, working and taking care of myself. True it is not CEO type positions like she is talking about. I admit it felt good knowing I could take care of myself and I respect any working ladies (moms or not out there) but there is no way I would trade what I have now to go back to being alone and successful in the modern world.
I feel bad for this lady because she is truly lacking in what matters most in life, loved ones. I am so blessed when it comes to loved ones. I have some incredible friends who seem to enjoy my company.   I have so much extended family who seem to really like me :). Then I have the most special people as a part of my small family who think I am exceptional.
I have this little boy who the first thing he does when he sees me in the morning is joyfully explain momma as he runs to give me a hug and tells me he loves me.
I have this little boy who thinks mommy's hugs cure everything and is often found trying to do exactly what mommy is doing.
And then my handsome husband who has never said goodbye without saying he loves me first and is always telling me how beautiful I am.
I know my life is exceptional and I truly feel like I am succeeding in life. I know the author of that blog may never agree with me but I hope that she will one day get over her ignorance and respect those who have chosen a lifestyle like mine. We all don't have to agree with what everyone does but we should still respect others as they are trying their best too.   And the fact remains that without wives and moms (parents in general), there wouldnt be successful career people in the world. So to all my fellow wives and moms out there, keep being as amazing as you are, we are a key part of this crazy world we live in. :)
