Korbin is 1!

Sunday was Korbin's birthday and his momma is having a hard time believing it! Where has this last year gone?!
I absolutely love birthdays and try to always make it truly a day spoiling the birthday person. We decided to have a monster bash. I made decorations, a birthday outfit and ordered a special cake and cupcakes. We were so excited for our little guy's birthday.
Things didn't go quite as planned but it was still a great day. Due to colds, we had to postpone it. I have to say how grateful I am for my husband, he helped me so much. He is always so supportive of my craziness around birthdays and did all he could this time to help Korbin's party be successful.
We had a small family only party on Korbin's birthday, during the Super Bowl. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed that so much changed from my plans but seeing how happy my birthday boy was made it all worth it. We had dinner, cake, and a piñata. The kids were all smiles and I think everyone had a great time, or at least I hope so!
I can't believe how quick the year has gone. Korbin is the happiest little guy and the perfect addition to our family. Him and Kyler are best friends and I love seeing them together. He decided to finally figure out forward crawling on his birthday and since then is constantly getting in to everything. He always has a smile on his face and loves to talk to people. He gets so excited when daddy comes home and gets upset if he doesn't immediately get a hug. He has 2 little tooth and definitely enjoys biting everything. He is the most content little boy and so easy to please. I'm so blessed to be his mom and love him dearly! (Same goes for Kyler, I don't know how I got lucky enough to be mom to the most adorable little boys!)

Unless...

Kyler's new favorite movie is the Lorax and I absolutely love one of the quotes from it-"nothing will change unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot". I'm trying to remember that in my life.

We have had a few lazy days so lots if time to think, thus the previous quote. Jason was sick Thursday so he stayed home which ended up being really good. Kyler woke up with a little gunk in his eye that no matter how many times we cleaned came back. When he woke up from his nap his eye was stuck closed and once we got it clean we could see how swollen it was. Off to the dr him and I went, poor little guy has pink eye. I used to think making him use the nebulizer was bad but boy are eye drops a real treat.....ah, it's a workout for both me and Jason. Luckily a couple days later he is looking lots better.
Jason and I joined the gym a couple weeks ago so today we went a private training session(what a workout), when we went to pick up the boys Korbin was crashed. Apparently grandma and grandpa know how to wear him right out.
We went to dinner with Ben,Brittany and Evan, boy was it fun. Korbin and Evan are 6 months apart and they love each other, it's cute. I love how we can all just talk for hours, much to Kyler's dismay! It was definitely a fun night! And we need to get together more!

My boys!

I thought I would update on each person in the family, just in case anyone wants to know.

Korbin turns 1 in 2 1/2 weeks and I am freaking out! I can't believe how big he is getting. He has not figured out crawling forward yet but is very mobile. He does a scoot/crawlish move going everywhere. He is pulling up and can hold himself up on things. He can walk with the walker but not holding our hands, silly boy. He has no teeth but I think there is one coming in (I've thought it's been coming in for awhile now). He is so talkative! He know that I'm mom and Jason is dad. He is quite the stubborn boy with a temper and will let you have an earful when he's upset. He is so easygoing most of the time so his temper surprises people. His favorite person is Kyler! He absolutely love his big brother and is always trying to copy him. Aw it makes my heart melt.

Kyler is growing up so fast, I cannot believe it.  He is so smart, I love how much he amazes people.  He isnt talking yet but he understands so much more than a lot of kids his age.  He knows a lot of sign. He knows what he is not supposed to do and loves to see how much he can get away with, such is a 2 year old.  He loves puzzles and books.  He has such an imagination.  He has flashcards and often times you will find him having the girl go down the slide or the mom and dad talking, etc.  Its quite funny.  He loves to take care of his stuffed animals and one of them (usually elmo) is usually doing everything with him.   He loves to dance and once any music comes on he's dancing all over the room.  He is starting to tolerate the snow better but does not like it on shoes.  Once we come inside he goes and wipes the snow off everyone's shoes, silly boy.  He is such a sweetheart and loves to take care of his little brother.  When I give him a snack he always makes sure that Korbin has some too.  Aw, I have some good sons!

Jason and I are doing well!  I'm so lucky to have such an amazing man as my eternal partner!  He takes such good care of our family and is the best dad.  He is the sweetest guy and always makes me feel like a queen!  I am one lucky girl to have 3 amazing boys/man in my life! :)
