Spring is here which means yardwork time.  Kamden loved cleaning the rocks.

We redid our garden bed and Jason had a helper.  

Spring break was the first week of April and we had so many plans but sadly this is how we spent most of it.....We had a nasty cold hit our home!

I was so grateful for modern conviences, such as grocery delivery.

and the fact that the kids thought it was awesome when we turned the couches and made it like a movie theater.

We made sure to get out and get our vitamin D.  The boys learned that Daisy loved pulling them on their scooters, they loved taking her on walks. 

Towards the end of the week everyone had the energy for a little outing.  We went and got lunch and went to first dam to feed the ducks.

Jason went to help clean up the new site for Parrotdise and singed his hair...

It was 70 degrees one day and snowing the next, yay Utah.

We send Benji an Easter basket and Kaezli was so excited about what she found for Klaus.

Pageant is coming up so we went to try on some dresses.  We ended up getting one from Amazon but we had so much fun.

We got a dry erase calender and the kids, especially Kamden, love adding things to it

Kyler ended up having one more basketball game.  We loved watching him do what he loves!

Kamden was supposed to be taking pictures of Kyler but instead he took a bunch of selfies.  Hes a goofball!

Easter Sunday!

The kids wanted pictures with bubbles

So they created bubbles for each other!

Grandma and grandpa got them kites so we went to try them out.

We are so lucky to have the most amazing kids!

Kamden asked me to cuddle with him and promptly fell asleep.

Soccer season has finally started!  Kamden's first game was cancelled to the snow.  Daddy is his coach and he is so excited to play!

She ran into one of her friends there!

We dropped her brothers off with Jamie and Christian, she loved having a day with mom and dad!

I ordered some bluelight glasses to try out and Korbin has claimed them!  He sure is cute!

I have been working on writing this post for way too long and have had the hardest time as I dreaded this part.  A few weeks ago, Jason and I started to notice Daisy was losing weight, which worried us.  We called the vet and got an appt.  They were pretty booked so it was a couple of weeks out.  The friday before her appt Daisy was acting incredibly lethargic and wouldn't eat.  We called the vet and they were able to squeeze her in.  They ran some bloodwork and did an xray.  They found out that she had an agressive cancer on her liver and spleen.  Daisy had actually went in for her well check the previous month so the dr advised us that it was probably time to say goodbye but if wanted to fight it they would help us out.  After LOTS of prayers and discussions, we decided to have one last night with her and then say goodbye the next day.  When the kids came home from school we had to the hardest talk with them, which literally broke our hearts.  Kyler had a football game in ogden that night so we picked Daisy up from the vet and had her bed and favorite toys in the car.  We got hamburgers on the way down, Which we shared with her, even though she still wasnt eating much.  At the game we set her up in the wagon (it was hard for her to walk) and enjoyed our time with her.

She got so many cuddles that night.

It's hard to tell but she perked up watching the game and kept trying to get a better look.

Kaezli's sweet friend heard about Daisy and made her this sweet waterbottle.  

We got home from Kyler's game, set Daisy's bed up in it's normal spot and we all tucked her in and said good night.  Sometime during the night Daisy made her way up to our closet, which we always joked around was her room as it was her favorite spot, and she passed on her own terms.  Luckily Jason and I found her before the kids woke up and got her moved.  Grandma took the kids to breakfast, while we took her body to the vet.  We sure do miss our Daisy girl!

Kaezli had her last dance competition that day.  As we walked in, she said Daisy is watching me so I'm going to dance my heart out, which she did.  The hardest part has definitely been watching our kids go through the grief process.

At the end of the competition, they did an improv contest.  Kaezli went out of her element and decided to perform in it.  During one of her jumps, she slipped and fell hard.  Then she got up and kept dancing.  She is so incredibly brave and always amazing me.

We went to grab dinner after and someone asked if they could buy her an ice cream.  It completely made her day.

I sure do love being her mom!

Kamden is so excited that the weather is getting nice enough to go scooter!

A report that Korbin wrote, he tries to have as much of his school work be about papa's birds.

Parent teacher conferences were a success so we celebrated with lunch at Olive Garden!

Kaezli told me she was going to go relax which apparently means in mom and dad's bed using dad's eye massager

My dad got sick and ended up in the hospital so we took care of his birds for a couple days.  Kiwi decided Kaezli's head was a good place to have a nut!

Kaezli had her first dance competition!  With how things worked out, it was just mom and her for this one which was so fun to have a girls day!

One of her dances was a minion dance so she decided that her minion should come see it!

She was so excited to get a trophy!

She did so good!  Her company got showmanship and her group got first place!

Her little red riding hood dance was my favorite!

She has definitely loved her dance team!  They are missing one due to sickness.

We got a late lunch after at cafe zupas.  such a good day with my favorite girl!

Kamden is doing so good at reading and all his siblings love reading with him!

The school at a fun family literacy night based on the book pie.  We all enjoyed ourselves!

We sometimes watch some of my dad's birds to help get them used to other people.  Echo was real excited to play xbox with Kyler.

I dont know how that's comfy!

In the pie book, there is an award called a blueberry.  One person in each class won a blueberry for being extra kind, Kamden won it in his class!  Go Kamden!

I have the best hubby ever!  I was subbing in pe so working all day and Jason brought me a super yummy lunch which was just the boost I needed to finish the day, PE is tough!

The younger 3 kids came with me to young womens since Jason had a meeting and Kyler had young mens himself.  We played minute to win it games which they loved participating in.

One of the games turned into a flour fight! (don't worry it was outside the church!)

Kaezli was super excited about the new outfit I got her at the divvy up sale!

So like a month ago, I saw that the friends lego set was on sale and thought it would be a fun home date for us.  It ended up being like 5 date nights but it was fun!

Kaezli offered to give daddy a piggy back ride!

Korbin said if I bought this lawn mower he would always mow the lawn....

Kyler had an art project that was displayed at one of the galleries on campus!

We had to go get some aggie ice cream after!

It's the end of Kyler's basketball season!  He had so much fun and learned so much this year!

Kamden was so thrilled to be at the game.  (it was a late game)
